The fundamental element of the ” NextGen4SC” project is that is aiming to create a Winning background for youth working in the supply chain/logistics sector, supporting them and empowering their involvement and competitiveness to the job sector, facilitating their preparation as the next generation of the supply Chain staff, to win the employment bet. The innovative character of this project is that is addressed not only to youth workers (which is its official target group) and has not only as aim to support them developing the relevant and high-quality skills and competences for working at the logistics sector or promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship among young people.
The other interesting and innovative aspect is that is pursued the establishment of e-incubators, which using the smart and digital technologies trends, which will lead to new relationships between partners and local entrepreneurial ecosystems, regional authorities and the labour market . All those, will lend their support to mentor NextGen4SC beneficiaries as either entrepreneurs or youth workers, to gain the enhanced skills and competences demanded by a 21st Century Supply-chain market. Business incubators have emerged because they provide a conducive environment that nurtures innovation and this is what exclusively used in the framework of this project. The development of a smart and digital platform operating as a web-oriented information hub addressed to Generation Z, companies and stakeholders, is integrating the innovation element of capitalizing the top internet technologies for the facilitation of the society.
